INDIAN HEAD MASSAGE is a complete treatment based on old Ayuverdic techniques. Involving work on
the upper back, shoulders, neck, scalp and face using a variety of massage movements to relieve accumulated
tension, stimulate circulation and restore joint mobility.
The chakra energies are worked upon enabling the chakra’s to become rebalanced, so that the recipient feels
rejuvenated, energized, relaxed and more able to cope with every-day life.
It also aids the condition and health of the hair, particularly when combined with the use of natural organic oils.
THE TREATMENT
A treatment will take about 20 minutes and can be done anywhere. No clothing needs to be removed and no
equipment, except a chair is required. The treatment begins with deep kneading, pressures, and
chopping & hacking techniques to the shoulders, arms and neck areas. The head is then worked with the
scalp been rubbed, squeezed and gently tapped. The hair is briskly tussled, and then softly stroked
through. Areas of the face are manipulated, acupressure points around the sinus area are worked and
pressure points in the ears are stimulated, finishing with light stroking. Colour visualisation helps
to rebalance the Throat, Forehead (Third eye), and Crown Chakras. The client is then is grounded
bringing them back round to full awareness, as the treatment may induce a feeling of euphoria.
